An Event to Help Your Child Become a Creator

Kids and the creator economy

It shouldn’t surprise you that three times more children ages 8-12 want to be YouTubers than Astronauts. But there’s a good chance your child’s STEM program doesn’t yet account for the reality of the Creator Economy?

My pal T. Adeola is solving for this with the first ever Creator Camp by STEM Whisperers. There are two Spring Break cohorts coming up in Dayton, Ohio:

Cohort Scarlet
March 21-26

Cohort Gray
March 28-April 2

Both sessions will be at the Dayton Mall.

Kids will learn to produce YouTube videos and the business and marketing principles behind being a creator. And then I will be one of the judges of the videos, plus I’ll give the kids a little talk about how to think about their careers as a content creator or influencer.

If you are anywhere near Dayton and have an 8-12 year-old who is interested in learning to be a part of the #creatoreconomy, sign up!

This is beyond awesome. I’ll see you there!
