Drive Down is quite the public affairs case study. And you know who one of the architects of this example was? My mom. That’s right! Sara George of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 12 joined me on Go Ahead Caller to talk about how a communications strategy reduced traffic accidents in one Kentucky county by 30 percent over five years.

It’s an amazing study on how to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver an important message using the media that people actually use (radio in this case) to hit hard on a message. And since it was Mom’s birthday, I thought it would be great to have her on the show.

And yes, she embarrasses me a bit toward the end. You’ll love it.

Do you know of another public affairs case study we should learn about? Do you have someone in the marketing world you would like me to invite on the show? Drop your suggestions in the comments or send them to me on the social networks (I’m @JasonFalls almost everywhere) or via email at jason – at –

Join me each Tuesday morning between 8 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. ET for a Facebook Live broadcast of Go Ahead Caller. And share the show with your friends, or I’ll have Mom embarrass you next time.
