I’m excited to tell you that we’ve officially scheduled another Small Business, Smart Marketing workshop! The next one will be Monday night, June 26 in Hazard, Ky., at the Kentucky Career Center Jobsite from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. I’ve partnered with the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program and BitSource to present the workshop, the first of which we kicked off in Pikeville, Ky., back in February.
The Hazard workshop is ideal for small business owners, sales professionals or marketing professionals who fall into a couple of categories: Either you don’t have a website or web presence and want to build one or you have one and aren’t happy with the return you’re seeing from it. We’re going to focus on the importance of branding, how the web can drive leads to your business and the basics of what you need to make it do just that.
My focus on these workshops is to show you how to generate leads using the digital space — websites, social media, email marketing and more — despite not having the time, staff or money to do it the way you may want to. Those who attend will leave with a blueprint on how to build and activate a content and lead generation strategy for their specific business — we get all worksheet happy in this thing!
Registration is free, but you need to sign up at the EKCEP site. Food and beverages will happen, so just cmon! This is going to be a blast! See you in Hazard June 26!
